  • Open the Control Center by swiping up from bottom.
  • Tap the Bluetooth icon to turn it off.
  • Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time.
  • Keep holding both the buttons for few seconds.
  • After few seconds an Apple logo will appear on the screen.
  • Release the buttons. Your device will do the rest of the task itself.
  • When your iPhone or iPad is done rebooting, open the Control Center by swiping up from bottom.
  • Tap the Bluetooth icon to turn it on.

Forget the Device

There might be some problem in the setup. To ensure the proper setup, you should forget the device to which you are wishing to connect your iPhone or iPad. Follow the steps to forget the device.

  • Now, select the most recent backup from the list of backups.

Reset Network Settings

Resetting should always be the last option. If your iPhone or iPad did not connects to Bluetooth after all this tiresome exercise then you should reset your network settings or try last method.

  • Tap on Settings button.
  • Here you’ll see General button. Tap on it.
  • At bottom you’ll see Reset button. Tap on it to proceed.
  • Here you will see different options. Tap on Reset Network Settings
  • If you have a security passcode then you will be prompted to enter a passcode. Enter your passcode to proceed.
  • Tap on Reset Network Settings again to confirm.

After that all the networks will be reset to default. You have to reconnect to all the network devices you use. Now again connect your Bluetooth accessory as you have done it before and see if your iPhone or iPad is connected to Bluetooth or not.
