- Connect Nexus 5X to PC or laptop using data cable.
- Now you will see an option like in the screenshot below, Click on it.
- You will see the following options, Select Transfer files (MTP).
- You can also change this option by going to Settings -> developer options -> USB connection and then change it to MTP.
Note: If you connect your device to PC via USB connection and it says device is locked go to Developers options and change USB connection to Charging and then back to MTP. it will fix the problem.
