System UI Tuner allows you to remove and add various icons from the status bar of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Status bar with lots of icons always looks messy. There are many users out there, like me, who don’t like lots of icons on the Status Bar. Now, you can remove Status Bar icons in Android Marshmallow.
Removing icons from the Status bar doesn’t mean that removed icons have gone forever. You can add back again at any time. Through this method, you can only remove the icons that are on the right side of the Status Bar. I am sure many users like me; love the emptier looking Status Bar. Many icons, like Airplane Mode icon, Alarm clock icon, Do Not Disturb Mode icon, Wifi icon, just make the Status Bar look messy. After you remove Status Bar icons, the mode will still work as it is supposed to e.g. you will still be connected to Wifi or your Airplane Mode will remain enabled.
