Fix Note 5 RAM Management Issues

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the latest flagship of 2015. It is the smoothest device with a shiny large screen. It has a powerful Camera and a good battery life. The Note 5 is one of the slimmest smartphones in the market. It has 4 GB RAM with a Quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, but users of the Galaxy Note 5 are still facing some issues.

Many users of Galaxy Note 5 are complaining about Note 5 RAM management. Well, there is always a solution to a problem. You can fix RAM management issues if you have a rooted device.

There may be other methods to fix this issue, but we are following the solution by editing the build—prop’s DHA properties. If you don’t know what a built—prop is, you should read about it before editing it. Android system properties files, located under the/System partition, are built—prop files.

You can find all the necessary information for your device’s build here. Android OS allows you to edit this file and make some alterations. Here, we will use it to free up RAM, making your Android device more productive.

Note: For precautionary measures, make sure you make both your builds. Prop building your ROM before editing your build. Prop’s DHA properties. Follow this guide at your own risk.

Fix Note 5 RAM Management Issues

Please see the following guide. Following it you can fix Note 5 RAM management issues by following the steps listed below.

  1. Download and install a Root file manager from the link given below.
    Download Root Explorer
  2. Once Root Explorer is installed on your device, open it.
  3. Browse to System/ in Root Explorer.
  4. You will find a build. Prop file here. Copy and paste this file into your device’s internal or external storage.
  5. Establish a Mass Storage connection to your PC via a USB cable. You can also connect in MTP mode.
  6. As mentioned above, create a backup of your build—prop file to be safe. Then, transfer the backup from your device to any suitable location on your PC.
  7. Now, you can edit the build prop with any simple text editor or available app in the editing part. To start editing the build. Prop file, open it in any text editor.
  8. After opening the editor, edit the file according to the list below.
  9. When you finish editing, please save the file and transfer it back to the device’s internal or external storage from where you first pick it. (Make sure that t overwrites the existing file)
  10. Now disconnect your Note 5 from your PC.
  11. Open Root Explorer on your device.
  12. Copy the modified build. Prop to /System/.
  13. Now, change the file permissions. Change it to rw-r-r-
  14. Press and keep holding the build. Prop and then press “Permissions“.
  15. Now, set permissions as given below.
  16. Now, reboot your Note 5.
