Fix Note 5 RAM Management Issues

- Download and install a Root file manager from the link given below.
Download Root Explorer - Once Root Explorer is installed on your device, open it.
- Browse to System/ in Root Explorer.
- You will find a build. Prop file here. Copy and paste this file into your device’s internal or external storage.
- Establish a Mass Storage connection to your PC via a USB cable. You can also connect in MTP mode.
- As mentioned above, create a backup of your build—prop file to be safe. Then, transfer the backup from your device to any suitable location on your PC.
- Now, you can edit the build prop with any simple text editor or available app in the editing part. To start editing the build. Prop file, open it in any text editor.
- After opening the editor, edit the file according to the list below.
- When you finish editing, please save the file and transfer it back to the device’s internal or external storage from where you first pick it. (Make sure that t overwrites the existing file)
- Now disconnect your Note 5 from your PC.
- Open Root Explorer on your device.
- Copy the modified build. Prop to /System/.
- Now, change the file permissions. Change it to rw-r-r-
- Press and keep holding the build. Prop and then press “Permissions“.
- Now, set permissions as given below.
- Now, reboot your Note 5.
