There has been a technology war between Samsung smartphones and Apple iPhones for the last few years. We have all often heard from iPhone users that they will never switch from iPhone to any other smartphone. But now Samsung has played its card. Samsung is doing its best to lure iPhone users to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.
After the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung came up with an amazing offer for iPhone users to “Test Drive” its latest ultimate devices of their own choice for a month. Test Drive also includes free cellular service for a month. Any iPhone user can register for just $1, a processing fee. This offer is limited to U.S. residents only.
A large number of iPhone users registered for Test Drive, which resulted in Samsung running out of Test Drive phones:
“The response to Samsung’s Ultimate Test Drive has been overwhelming and exceeded our expectations. We are excited to see how many people are eager to try something new. In just a few hours, customers looking to try our latest and greatest devices reserved all of the kits earmarked for this program. We’re now working quickly on how to make the Ultimate Test Drive available to even more people,” a Samsung spokesperson says.
The registration process is pretty simple. You have to visit Samsung’s promotion site through Safari on an iPhone. Select the smartphone you want to try and the carrier service you are using. A processing fee will be deducted from your account, and a smartphone will be shipped to you with a smart switch cable so that you can transfer your data to the new phone.
There is an equal possibility that after 30 30-day trial period, either you like the new smartphone or you don’t. In both cases, you will get a grace period of 5 days at the end of the trial period to either return the phone using the shipping label provided by Samsung or pay the full price of a handset. In case of any damage, you’ll be charged by $100 on your card by Samsung. Damages include scratches, cracked screens, problems related to the camera and speakers or damage related to water.
