How to Install Stock Marshmallow on HTC one A9 (RUU File)

The installation of stock Marshmallow on HTC one A9 is quite easy, as it comes in RUU file. The latest software update version is 1.57.651.1. To install stock marshmallow on HTC one A9 you have to download the firmware that is below and install the latest HTC driver or Install the HTC sync manager on your computer.


  • Download the RUU file from here (Source)
  • Verify that your device is compatible for the update file.
  • Enable USB debugging on your HTC one A9. (Goto Settings>About Phone> Tap Build number multiple times till you see new Developer Options. Now in the developer options enable the USB debugging.
  • Make sure your phone is charged above 50%.

Now the process is simple. Download the RUU file from above on your computer. Make sure you have HTC Sync manager installed. Now connect your device to your computer and run the RUU.EXE file.
