record calls on note 10

The Samsung Galaxy Note series is infamously known for all the features Samsung crams into these devices. Notes are one of the handiest phones you can have in any situation and are so reliable that even I have one. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10, released on August 7, 2019, is a pretty old phone, but that does not mean it does not pack a punch. In this guide, we will talk about how to record calls on Note 10.

It has a Gigantic 6.3″ Display and weighs 168 grams. It is a Glass Front/Back Phone, giving it a more aesthetic look. Because of its infinity and curved display, It has Corning Gorilla Glass 6, which curves around the sides—originally coming with Android 9, now updatable to Android 11(One UI 3.1). It carries the Exynos 9825 Chipset, with not 1 but 2 processors! Both of the processors are Octa-Core, and it also has 2 GPUs. As far as cameras go, the Galaxy Note 10 is sitting astoundingly high with triple cameras (12mp, 12mp, 16mp) and can record up to 4k 60fps.

Call Recording features allow you to record incoming or outgoing video calls from your Android Phones. It is a built-in feature in most Android phones, meaning no third-party application is required for Recording Calls. This is a helpful feature as people want some privacy, but beware, as some people record calls with malicious intent. Also, some people like to keep their phone calls/video calls saved for legal purposes and other security reasons. Therefore, I would recommend looking at your province/state laws for call recording, as some states have prohibited Recording calls. Breaking the law can lead you to a fine or even send you to jail.

The good thing is that you do not need to download some sketchy app that will store your calls in the cloud. Instead, the Galaxy Note 10 has a built-in feature to record calls that can be accessed and turned on/off based on your needs.

iOS Devices do not have the option to record calls

How Do I Record Calls on Note 10?

I would recommend that you have the latest version of Androids software to be used. And for your information, some (most) countries do not support call recording. So if it doesn’t show, then you know the reason.

Now there are two ways to record calls on note 10:

Manual

  1. When making or receiving a call from the person.
  2. Go and click the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. Press the Record button.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions, and you are good to go.

Now, this is for when you want to record a specific caller or call. If you’re going to record all Calls, or maybe calls from selected contacts or unknown numbers, then follow the tutorial below.

Automatic

  1. Go to the phone app.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu button and go to settings.
  3. Here you will see a Record option.
  4. Now select Auto Record, and you will be given three options.
  5. Select an option, and you are good to go!

Remember that the option will not appear if call recording is unavailable in your region.
