As September approaches, news and rumors about the upcoming Nexus device for the year 2016 are pouring in. One thing among many was confirmed a few days back: HTC is developing Nexus devices. We also heard from Huawei representatives that they are working on a Google Nexus device. Initial reports said two Google Nexus phones are in development under HTC with the code names Marlin and Sailfish. Things start to get confusing here, as Huawei’s general manager for the consumer business group said in his last interview. “We’re doing the Nexus again this year, by the way.” Are we looking at 3 Google Nexus this year? Time will tell.
Talking about HTC, when it comes to hardware and design, HTC is no less than anyone out there. But their software and Sense UI are where HTC is not good. With the stock Android on HTC-developed Nexus phones, I think they are going to be something amazing. HTC recently released HTC 10, which has almost a stock Android UI.
