Prerequisites:

  • Download ODIN v3.10.7 from here.
  • From below, Download Stock Firmware for your S4 according to your phone model.
  • Download Samsung Drivers for Windows. (The link to download the file is under the main heading). Although these drivers are to be installed on your PC, they are essential for your PC to recognize your device correctly.
  • You will need a computer for this solution.

Selecting the correct ROM is very important. If your phone is carrier unlocked and has no carrier branding, you can download the ROM of any country that is not branded. To check the brand of your phone. Reboot your phone and see if the logo of some carrier (like Verizon or T-Mobile) appears on the screen. If your phone is not branded, you can flash the firmware of any country that is not carrier-specific.

Moreover, Ensure you don’t flash unbranded ROM on a branded phone. Although, it’s recommended to find the same firmware as the one installed on your phone before it gets bricked.

Follow the below steps to flash stock firmware to fix Galaxy S4 Stuck at Bootloop:

Use the guide below to flash stock firmware on Galaxy S4 using ODI:

  1. Download ODIN on your PC.
  2. Install Samsung USB drivers for Windows on your PC or laptop.
  3. Now turn off your Galaxy S4 and Get it into Download mode.
    • Press the Volume Down, Power button, and Home Buttons simultaneously.
    • Keep on holding till you see a warning.
    • Press the Volume Up button to continue.
  4. Now open ODIN on your Windows PC.
  5. Connect your phone to your PC using a USB data cable. ID: COM will turn blue, indicating that your PC is connected and recognized. Suppose your phone is not recognized. Make sure you have installed proper Samsung drivers on your computer.
  6. Click on AP or, in some ODIN versions, PDA.
  7. Select the stock firmware with (.MD5 file extension) you downloaded and extracted from Sammobile.
  8. Ensure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked in the options, like in the screenshot below.
  9. That’s it. Click on Start and wait for 5 minutes. Now, ODIN will flash Stock ROM on your Galaxy S4.
