Download Google Play Store on Huawei

Chinese Huawei phones do not have a Google Play store or any of its apps. It has its own store, HiApp, for downloading applications. China does not allow Google, Facebook, Twitter, or any other social network to operate in the country. Suppose you bought a phone from China. Chances are it doesn’t have Google Play Store or any of the apps from Google. Also, considering the new sanctions on Huawei, Huawei phones come without Google apps and services worldwide. In the post below, I will guide you on how to install and download Google Play Store on Huawei phones brought from China or running on Chinese Software/operating systems.

Recently, I bought a Huawei P60 Pro from China. When I came back to my country, I tried installing apps like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. Snapchat failed to install and gave an error that this app requires Google Play Services to run. To solve this error, I had to install Google Play Services on my phone. After that, I was able to download and install every app present there, and all apps started working correctly.

Now, the situation is even worse. The US government has endorsed new sanctions on Huawei, which forbid American companies from selling microchips or doing any kind of business with Huawei. This has led Google to levy its apps and services from Huawei smartphones. No matter if the smartphone is for China or the rest of the world.
