Suppose you are having issues with S Pen on Note 5. If Air Commands for Note 5 Edge are not working, then clearing the cache can fix this issue. Note that clearing the cache won’t delete any data present in your Note. Instead, follow the step to step guide below to get over the issue of Air Command not showing when S Pen pulled out.

  4. Release the other two buttons as soon as you see the Android logo on your Galaxy Note 5.
  5. Now, you’ll see a notice on your Note 5 screen stating “Installing system update” for 30 to 60 seconds. After that, your phone will display the Android system recovery menu.
  6. Use Volume Up and Volume Down keys to navigate through the options. For example, find the “wipe cache partition option and press the Power key to select it.
  7. Once the cache partition is wiped out, use the Volume keys to navigate to the “Reboot system now” option and press the Power key to restart the phone.
  8. The reboot will take some time. So wait for it to complete the reboot.

Note: Do not turn off your phone while it’s clearing cache. It’s a system process, and it can screw up your phone pretty severely if you mess it up while it’s clearing cache. It will take 5 minutes to clear the cache. It can take more depending upon the state of your phone.
